Daniela Rizza

Daniela was born with a passion for movement.
Yoga felt like the perfect transition away from the classical ballet world Daniela was accustomed to. It offered a freeing, yet challenging way to move the body and steady the mind. Beyond movement, yoga provided a way for this recovering perfectionist to let go of expectations, judgements, and harness a compassionate drive for growth.

Daniela’s vinyasa classes build heat - she incorporates various movement modalities to provide an interesting perspective that offers the opportunity to dive deeply into mindful movements. Her advanced trainings with Janet Stone and Jason Crandell helped hone her understanding of the body and injury management. She encourages her students to “move smart”. If something doesn’t feel right in the body, it’s probably because it’s not.

Life outside of yoga is spent cooking, soaking in nature, volunteering at Family Dog Rescue, and sitting behind the (potter’s) wheel creating functional pieces for DRZA Ceramics. To find out more, visit danielarizza.com.
