Europa Grace (they/them) is a mixed-race Black, queer, non-binary Trans person, currently living in Oakland (unceded Huichin, Chochenyo Ohlone land), originally from Albany, NY (unceded Algonquian & Mohican Land). Since 2012, they have been a teacher of the healing practice of yoga and meditation.As a Cultural Competency Consultant they work with organizations and individuals to dismantle oppression within wellness and arts spaces. Europa’s creative work manifests at the intersection of spiritual, somatic and social. Utilizing cello, voice, and body, their work explores the healing potential of re-associating the dissociated and displaced body-mind.
