Standing with India

Let's come together in solidarity with the people of India as they continue fighting the world's worst COVID-19 outbreak. This donation-based practice will focus on heart openers with love and kindness, led by Meera Dhawan.

Registration is free; please donate directly (before, during, and/or after class) to #OxygenForIndia, a grassroots, direct relief effort organized by Ruchika Talwar. What started as a social media campaign among friends and family has now raised over $450,000 with a new goal of $750,000.

"She, her mom and her mom's medical school friends -- graduates from Maulana Azad in Delhi -- wanted to send 50 oxygen concentrators to their classmates on the ground. Each medical grade concentrator costs $500, according to Talwar. The nearly half a million they have raised since has helped send oxygen concentrators, supplies and shipping arrangements directly to state-funded hospitals they've personally vetted."
