Prenatal Yoga

-

at Sunset (1348 9th Ave San Francisco, CA 94122)

Prenatal Yoga is a mindful practice that includes gentle yoga asana (postures) and breathing exercises to support the process of pregnancy at any stage. This class is a supportive space to connect with others who are at all stages of pregnancy and early caretaking. All pregnant people are welcome, whether you have a regular yoga practice or want to start yoga during pregnancy. Intentional movement and breath can help reduce stress, increase circulation, and prepare you for labor. It is recommended to inform the teacher of any complications (current or past) or any treatment that you are receiving, so the teacher can best serve you.

As a minimum requirement to teach this class, your teacher has successfully completed both a 200-hour yoga teacher training and an 85-hour prenatal yoga training, and is a registered prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT) with Yoga Alliance.
