If we are equally made up of both Sun and Moon, then Sun would be our consistency. We will always take our coffee the same and drive the same route to work. It is the parts of us we can count on.
Moon on the other hand, mirrors our capriciousness. Yes, we are committed to owning the night but we may show up whole or it might be a dark sky that evening. Then there are the rare times, that the Moon seems only miles away. Huge and amber yellow, she is proud and dawns a halo to shine like she forgot how. It is on those nights we reconnect with each other. That we do our rituals and send the texts to say, "Look at the Moon," as if we might never see a moon rise like this again.
Today's class we celebrate our fickle hearts. What ever part of the cycle you're in, take a moment to appreciate how you've shown up.
