Postnatal Yoga

-

at NOPA (286 Divisadero Street San Francisco, CA 94117)

Postnatal Yoga is a mindful asana (posture) practice to relieve common physical, mental, and energetic discomforts at the postpartum stage. This class provides a supportive community environment where you can focus on slowly easing back into yoga. We recommend this class for those who are 6-8 weeks postpartum (8-10 weeks after C-section), only after you are cleared by a healthcare provider to resume exercise. Babies are welcome, but must be pre-crawling. Feeding and changing during class is only natural. Please bring a changing pad and blanket.

As a minimum requirement to teach this class, your teacher has successfully completed both a 200-hour yoga teacher training and an 85-hour prenatal yoga training, and is a registered prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT) with Yoga Alliance.
